How to Submit Group Feedback for Your Housing Society or RWA

A single citizen's feedback carries weight. Feedback from 500 members of a Resident Welfare Association carries orders of magnitude more. Seedhi Baat is built to support collective civic action, not just individual grievances.

What Is Group Feedback?

Group feedback is a single submission made by one person on behalf of a defined group — an RWA, a housing society, a street, or a neighbourhood — with the number of affected households specified. Seedhi Baat weights group feedback differently in the algorithm: feedback affecting 200 households in one constituency generates a stronger accountability signal than 200 individual submissions about 200 different issues.

Step 1 — Designate a Feedback Submitter

The RWA secretary or a nominated civic representative submits the feedback. They use their own account but specify "Submitting feedback on behalf of [Society Name], [Number] households."

Step 2 — Get Society Members to Register

Ask every member of your RWA to join the Seedhi Baat waitlist using your shared referral link. When 40+ members of your society are registered under the same constituency, your constituency's Growth Score increases significantly — and your collective feedback gets surfaced prominently.

Step 3 — Reference Legal Standing

RWAs registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 or the relevant state cooperative society act have legal standing to file submissions. Include your RWA registration number. Under the 74th Constitutional Amendment, Ward Committees are mandated to address RWA grievances — reference this in your feedback to the MP.

What Happens After Filing

The feedback is logged publicly against your MP's accountability record. Your MP's office receives a notification. If unresolved after 30 days, the feedback is flagged on the constituency leaderboard. MPs facing re-election cannot afford to ignore 500-household feedback submissions in their constituency.
